Our story
Kangema Farm Life grows chillies, tomatoes, cabbages, capsicum, kales and onions, and shares what it learns with other farmers.
Kangema Farm Life was started in 2020 in Muguru Ward, Kangema Constituency, Murang’a County, by John Kamau. The farm was established with a clear purpose: to help fill the gap in the growing and reliable supply of fresh, quality farm produce in Kangema and the wider Murang’a County. The idea was born from seeing an opportunity to contribute to local food production while creating a sustainable agricultural venture. By growing fresh produce locally, Kangema Farm Life aims to serve farmers, businesses, households and other customers with quality farm produce while contributing to the growth of agriculture in the region. Although our roots are firmly in Kangema, our vision goes beyond the local market. We aspire to expand our production and supply reach across Kenya and, in the future, into international markets through the export of quality Kenyan farm produce. What started in 2020 continues to grow through hard work, learning, innovation and a commitment to responsible farming. Kangema Farm Life is more than a farm; it is a growing agricultural journey built around the belief that the land can provide opportunities, support communities and contribute to a stronger food system. From Muguru Ward to markets beyond Murang’a, this is our story and we are only getting started.
